This painting measures, 60" x 42." It was hand painted in oil on a birch-ply panel in 2015.
Walking east from 11th Ave. in Manhattan. It was a cold, rainy night in January. The blurred image is further abstracted by the steep angle of my viewpoint. My eyes look up and left at the Paramount Hotel. Angled forms dissolve in light, abstracting the street view. The rhythm of walking makes the lense a brush, carving that same rhythm repeatedly into the image. CLICK HERE FOR PRINTS
