New York at night. Aluminum print of an oil painting that I created in 2016.
I was walking east from 11th Ave. in Manhattan, talking with friends after a conference. It was a cold, wet night in January. Bright light ahead from Times Square made sweet contrast with our dark end of the street, and the soft-edged silhouettes of the people. A complexity of detail dissolves into an impression of urban life.
The oil painting has been sold.
