This vintage poster & print was created in 1981. Colo Rado presents a modernist vision of Colorado: rail transport, sleek, fast, and elegant, like its landscape. The abstract lettering, and the split Colorado slow the reading of the print's typography, an experience many feel in a foreign land. It is an original print, meaning it was created in the act of printing. Four hand-made mylars were created by the artist and used to expose positive-reading litho plates. The artist used air-brush and knife cut rubylith to make the various plates: red, blue, green and black. Edition of 500. 24.5"x38.5". — This print is NOT FRAMED.
